Esas trencitas que les vemos a las mujeres africanas representan un día de trabajo de alguna peluquera! Es todo un proceso, primero hay que desatarlas, lo que fácilmente pueden ser dos horas. Luego lavar profundamente, para quitar los restos de vaselina, y finalmente rehacerlas, lo que significa unas tres horas más. Y son incómodas porque  tienes que dormir con ellas, recogértelas para ducharte y esperarte un mes para poder cambiártelas y lavarte el pelo de nuevo. La mayor parte de las mujeres opta por este look.

Otra opción es ponerse extensiones, lo que me pareció más curioso todavía! porque entonces se trenzan el cabello alrededor de la nuca, en forma de espiral y a partir de allí les tejen las extensiones por capas.

Por último, la segunda opción más común es dejarse el pelo al natural! Corto y redondeado, fácil y sencillo. Yo suelo quejarme porque tardo al menos hora y media para secarme el pelo, pero ahora me siento afortunada!
